Coming Down the MountainPosted by Ali-G (Ottawa, Canada) on 4 January 2007 in Landscape & Rural. I was comin' down the mountain And on that note I have a friend that thinks I should write for real - usually I just smile and wave, after all wearing tin-foil on your head can't help but scrambled your thoughts... but on the other hand - true story - I was in a train station in Xian, China once and - after being told by the police that sleeping was ver boten even at 5 in the morning - despite the fact that we were sleeping sitting straight up and that our train was supposed to leave the night before at eleven - I was contemplating my haircut from the evening before which turned to be more than I bargained for (how was I to know that in "Glorious Communist China" where there is no exploitation that barbershops were usually fronts for prostitutes?) when some annoying guy from Walloon or Waping or Weilderhurst decided to enlightenment me to the fact that - now this is true - electrons wink at us - but only when we aren't looking at them. So if such people can exist in the world, I guess my gun-toting tin-foil-wearing friend may have a hidden talent for spotting a diamond in the roughage. P.S. Damon - I appreciate all the feedback - for me and for the rest of the bloggers - you're really contributing to making this site a great success
