Cold Shot

Well that is January done and we finally got the cold weather we were missing (?)... Somehow I'm just not warming to this winter if you pardon the pun - possibly having a puppy that needs to go out for a pee on a (very) regular basis has something to do with it. Although I'm sure the neighbours are wondering about the weirdo standing in the backyard with a flashlight at 5 in the morning, wearing a parka, boxers and duck boots repeating "Go pee, go pee - Good girl!" as a blizzard howls out of the west, making a balmy minus 25 (no joke) feel like a refreshing minus whatever my knees are turning white. Ach well - at least she doesn't pee on the hardwood anymore.
